Silver Globe Records - SilvanusSilvanusBorn Delroy Roberts, in the Parish of St-Thomas, Jamaica.*Silvanus started out as most artist did, singing at church and entertaining relative and friends. He migrated to Canada in 1979 where he started spreading his distinct brand of culture in dances and stage shows of Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa (Canada), New-York, Washington D.C. (U.S.A.), London and Manchester (England) as well as Clarendon and Kingston (Jamaica) , just to name a few. He shared the stage with such artists like Horace Andy, Jose Whales, Fred Locks, Jerimiah, Culture Dan, Daniel Ray, R.Z. Jackson, The Maytones, Culture Knox, President Brown, General Trees and Morgan`s Heritage. He has also shared the scene with Donna Makeda and Brigadier Jerry in Rasta Fest `94 at Patra Hall Ottawa; with Sugar Minott, summer 1987 in Washington D.C.; at the Biltmore Ball Room, Brooklyn N.Y. with Shine-Head; at the Stardust Ball Room, Bronx N.Y. alongside Sister Carol; as well as Kingston, Jamaica in 2000 at a dance with Jah Love Hi Power . His first record release, were two singles `The Gentiles` produced by Silver Globe Records, which is Silvanus` own Record Label, and `Entertainment` co-produced by Silver Globe Records and Young Lion`s Productions, Which did fairly well. At presant, Silvanus has a new C.D. set to be released very soon. He is currently producing a C.D. album for an up and coming artist by the name of Mounia Sahara, also to be released very soon.
